Philadelphia artist Clay Johnson is most known for his landscape paintings of Valley Forge and the Schuylkill River. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northern Illinois University in 1975, he moved east to study at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Johnson paints landscapes, on site, throughout the region. Avidly sought by highly successful companies and individuals, his paintings are represented in numerous collections, both public and private.
